how do i adjust the throttle cable??
it's kinda like tightening the brakes on a bicycle. just untighten the screw and tighten up the slack on the throttle cable and retighten the screw. it ain't hard. you best be easy on the clutch after or catch a case.
okay, there is the throttle cable, then are 2 bolts, one closer to the TB and one farther away, which one do i loosen/tighten? is there anything i should be careful of while doing it besides tighten it too much?
If you're really not sure which one you should tighten I wouldn't recommend you working on it, it's very straight forward... think about it, you're picking up the slack from the mounting point to the throttle body. If you still can't get it, don't work on it, ask someone who knows to show you how.

well, just tell me if its the one closer to the throttle body or the on farther. the 2 bolts are close together but something separates them. if i loosen it do i have to hold on to the cable. one last question, when i turn the bolt, do i pull the cable or does the cable tighten WHEN i turn the bolt? thanks
i think you have to loosen both and tighten the cable yourself if i remember it correctly, but damn man just play with it you ain't gonna mess **** up unless you got the engine runnin.

I'm sorry, but good lord! The end of the sheathed part of the throttle cable is threaded and this is where your two bolts thread. When looking at the position of the throttle cable you'll see the first retainer bolt, then the mount, and then another retainer bolt. The mount is sandwiched between the two retainer bolts, which in turn are threaded on the end of the sheath. All you need to do is loosen one of the bolts to relieve the tension, and adjust the mounting point accordingly depending on your situation. If you STILL don't understand, don't touch it. I'm truly scared that #1 you won't attach it correctly back in and have it fall off it's mount (possibly leading to a crash due to loss of power), or #2 have it on so tight that you'll redline the engine on startup when it's in neutrual and blow the engine. If you really don't understand, don't mess with it unless you can afford to fix it.

thank you for clearing that up, i hope he learns........also......in time if you're afraid of ruining your car and you don't have prior knowledge of what you're doing, or know how to turn a wrench....lol.....then hand your car over to someone else who knows how to modify a car.............not trying to be mean at all, sorry if i came off like an ***.

you're not really going to adjust much at all unless your cable is truely loose. There's a rubber "Spring" on the top of the gas peddle the cable goes in so when you his about the gas peddle about 85% of the way to the floor you're at WOT anyhow.. the rest of the peddle pushing only squashs the rubber section
