discovered my H22 has horible compression levels, and are forced to rebuild, and the Ques. of A or B came up and I had not a clue? Was looking for some advice on how to determine what I have and difference between the two? Thanks for any input..

A piston is bigger than the B piston

A 87.000-87.010mm
B 87.011-87.020

In tern I could use the Type S pistons, but since I have a 94 H22A I woulds have to make an adjustment so my rod could accept a Full Float pin right? Not to sure on what pins come stock in mine. Thanks..

Your wrong the A type piston is bigger

A 86.993-87.006
B 86.983-86.996

 

oops... typo, but my numbers are different than yours, maybe they are different from the H22A1 to the H22A4, b/c mine if for the A4

 

so is mine. actually i have both Helm books for the H22A. A1 and A4. Don't ask why i have both its a long story. Anyway the numbers i took from the 97+ helms. anyway Blah Blah Blah, nuff said about all that.
