I'm looking at getting a 2003 RSX type S, but could use some advice. I just want to know if it's worth the price tag. It seems reasonable enough, but do you think I would be better off with a late-model?

Anyone had bad experiences with the '03 or heard any negative rumors?

So could this be the thread for all the trial users with under 10 posts? I look at these people who have over a thousand posts and feel a little intimidated....or maybe they just like to talk alot... There was one little problem on the 02. Something like slipping out of 3rd. supposedly affected one in ten cars. maybe someone else knows more about that.

 

For good info on the RSX, you should probably avoid honda-tech. Go to www.clubrsx.com - they have much better info. You'll probably find the info you're looking for in the Problems & Solutions section.

Also you would be better going with the 02 right now if you still can find some new- the only noticiable difference (if you can call it that) is the change from Firepepper Red in 02 to Redondo Red in 03.

if you're still checkin out this thread then i'd say if you can find and 02 with the color you want then go with it. i only had to buy an 03 cause they ran out of silver OR arctic blue in 02. same shyst different year.
