my 2000 acura integra type r won't start i'm not getting any spark. i had the msd ignition hooked up and i thought that was it. but when i put it back to stock car still wouldn't turn on.oil level is fine. it will crank over but no spark. any help please thanks

 

distributor problem?

take a voltmeter and find out whats going on.

 

check your fuses
*edit* oops i forgot its getting spark.....umm yeah disty problem

Check your Ignitor also. Could have gone bad.

 

msd? could be that damn blaster coil

I had so many problems with my msd, but luckily they saent me both a new box and a new coil

 

he removed the MSD though

Check your wiring again and check that ignitor.

-Dave, who removed a MSD with assdime at Expo2 cause it was possibly causing problems.

I had a problem with mine not starting a few months ago. It just kept cranking but wouldn't turn over. This was a completely stock ignition system. After about 20 minutes of screwing with it I just laid on the starter for about 15 seconds solid and it started to fire up so I just kept on it and pushed the gas and it started up. I turned it off and started it again no problems. I didn't change anything with the car the whole time I was trying to figure out what was wrong. It hasn't happend again since and I still never really figured out what was wrong.
