Longest week ever?
Well as some of you may or may not know I've been trying to sell my Prelude for a while now and finally sold it last weekend. Car was sold on Saturday and on Sunday the ITR search began w/ a trip to Cumberland to meet up w/ Ralph (a.k.a. Cheeseman) to check out his ITR
Great car and great owner so I made him and offer and we agreed to meet up yesterday to buy/sell the car.
I went and applied for my loan on Wed. and was approved on Friday but because of the weather one of the loan officers that needed to sign off on the loan wouldn't be in till Monday
So it looks like I'll be waiting till next Saturday to pick up my ITR (hence the title). Oh well I've waited this long another week won't kill me.
Farewell pic of the Prelude and of course I'll post some ITR pictures when I finally get it.

oh what the heck one more

Oh yeah, big
to Ralph, great guy to deal w/ and another
to Nick for being a good buyer you better take car of my car!
Hmmm no real point to this post just thought I'd give everyone an update and break the Sunday afternoon boredom for myself

That is GREAT news!!! Congrats in advance!!! I remember the wait for mine as well. I found it out of State, and had to wait a week for it to arrive. Like you said, a wait that was very much worth it!!!
Greg - who is looking forward to seeing the pic's

Thanks guys!
hehe the wait is only making my ITR fever worse
I'm super excited about the car especially about having a car that I can actually find parts for, that was the Preludes #1 drawback.
But yeah I think I'm going to be very happy w/ the car, I can see myself keeping it for a long while

Man that sux but congrats on the ITR purchase. I found mine out of state also and it took me less than a week to get it. I found it on tues, called about it the same day and filled out the paperwork over the phone. On wed they called me to tell me i needed a co signer. The same day they called my grandmother at home while i was at work. Thurs. they call me to tell me i was approved and on Sat. I went to pick it up. It was very fast and it was the best purchase i have ever made.
Enjoy your car like i know u will.

If it makes you feel any better, when I bought mine in late October of 2001, I had to wait till the second week in December to get it. It was the longest 6 weeks of my life. The shipping companies ended up hating me as I did them.
Car had to be shipped from Alabama (thanks, Dan!
) to Hawaii. Just be glad you only have to wait a week.
In th end, it was worth the wait as I just love this car and I'm sure you will love yours, too.
Congrats, man...

Thanks, I was kinda sad to see it go but ITR fever knows no allies
Here's the rundown on the Prelude:
1997 Base
- Tein HA
- Apex'i N1 (catback)
- 16x7 Regamaster EVO's (w/ Axas lugs)
- A few other little things
I woulda been totally fine keeping the Prelude if I'd never had a chance to drive Justin's (a.k.a. Ferrell). Only had to drive it once and I knew what I had to do

Congrats Chris! My Si bus was sold today

Ah that's good to hear, I kinda figure once the ITR is mine I'll forget about the Prelude pretty fast.
The Prelude was a great car but I think the ITR was the way to go for me

What???? I didn't know you were really trying to sell it Brian! Who did you sell it to? E36 would be dope man, really, really dope. I kinda thought about looking for one but I don't think I could afford the repairs if it needed any. Good luck in the search!
I sold it to a friend in Roanoke (not one of the TNG guys), so it should be at its new home tomorrow
. Advans and everything went with it
. The repair bills are the only thing that scares me about the M3, but this car has been taken care of very nicely. Until then, I will be driving an environmentally unfriendly, ecology destroying, baby seal clubbing, tree hugger pisser offer of an SUV

It's a Denali, I keep telling my dad to get some 22's for it
. One of the nice benefits of living at home is borrowing a parents car (they are borrowing a spare car from a family friend, so family friends are good too

Thanks.
Yep that was me. I actually had 3 or 4 people that were "interested" but nothing ever came of it. I guess one way or the other I'm meant to have an ITR though

I too decided to give up my lude for an R. Took about a month to find one and then sold the lude. It's definitly a more radical ride. It will also draw more attention both postitive and negative. I rarely heard of ludes being stolen on prelude web boards unlike this one
