Friday night my car was running ok .... as it should Ive only had it a few days now.
Saturday morning I start it ... it sounds like utter ***, and is running the same.
Late for work I drive it ne-way. At lunch during the work day I start dicking with the car ... pull plug wire 1, falls on its face, put it back, do the same with plug wire 2, same result, do the same with plug wire 3 doesnt affect it, so weve determined cylinder #3 is a piece of ****...do the same with plug wire 4 and it falls on its face again....so now we know cylinder 3 is gay'er then Richard Simmons. Soo I pull spark plug #3 to find its caked with burnt up oil.....which is leading me to believe that the piston rings are shot, and its all fouled up. Which would also explain why I am hella low on oil when I just changed oil and filter tuesday, and when I checked last night Im about ehhh 3 quarts low. Im so pissed ... so, now I dunno if I should spend a few bucks to put rings in a gay d series motor, or should I try to sell or trade my other hatch for a swap and call it a day ... well I do know what I should do, but in the event that doesnt work out I really dont wanan put money into a d series motor.
