Dumb stuff.
I went to the muffler shop because i need bigger piping and i dont have money for a new madrel bent aftermarket piece. The muffler guy first said:" YOu dont have any restrictions, 2.25 is for 300hp cars, and you dont need to go that big 
THen he said, I cant bend the piping around the top of the controll arm because its to abrupt of a bend, and the machine will crack the pipe when i try to bend it.
Does anyone have a "custom" ef exhaust. And how dumb is it for him to say that 2.25 is too big. I have a b16, so i dont think its too big.

I GOT THE SAME DAMN REPLY with my old 90 hatch!!! i just told him then you know what then make it come out the passneger side of the car... he did it.
2nd senario about my 91' Talon Tsi.. wanted 3" custom bent.. he said it will rattle on my suspenison and that 3" is tooo big and I HAVE NO RESTRICTIONS even with my turbo. he kept INSISTING that stock 2,25" piping was enough and to just cut the end and put a muffler only on WTF!!! mind you this was for my 16g 18psi boosted Talon!!!

Since the other no name shop gave me a hassle i went to Meineke to get my 3"! ($175)

I think almost everyone I know has a "custom" 2.25 exhaust. Go back to muffler shop, tell dude that hes a freakin moron and needs to stop back talking customers.Then go take your busniess elsewhere. And the line he gave you about it cracking? If he cant bend it then he aint very good. Tell him youd rather have it done by a profesional.

i am using a 2.5 inch crush bent ith a 22mm rear sway. very tight back there. im also lowered a good 1.5-2.5 inch one guy told me it couldnt be done. im like aight. take it to my other guy and he does it. for ~200 i got a dynomax muffler, glasspack resonator, and 2.5 from the header back
