Default Hondata? Accel? Speedpro??

What's everyone using? Anyone use an Accel? What about a Speedpro? I currently have a Hondata and was thinking of going to stand alone. Just wondering what you guys use, suggest, recommend... Thanks.

I'm using and have tuned many Hondatas. Great system.

Why are you thinking of switching?

Do yourself a favor and download the demo software for the other standalone systems before you make your decision. I played with the Haltech E6K, AEM EMS, and Hondata software all before I bought the Hondata. AEM is powerful, but there is sooo much stuff to configure. Haltech is a bitchin system, but the software is archane to put it nicely (I'm a DOS fan, too! ). I think overall, Hondata is the best system in terms of what you get, support (many dealers, lots of base maps, lots of people running it), and ease of use.

but most of the dealers for hondata don't even use them! I had to call almost 10 of them to get a base map for mine.

I found the AEM system hard to work with...The Hondata seems to be quite simple although a little annoying with the chip burning... Not sure if it's my system, but I can't seem to run the datalogger and the emmulator at the same time.

the user friendliness of the SpeedPro is second to none.........

you can get the bank to bank system for around 1400 with honda harness (no wideband)

I can get an EMS for less than $1400, and with a wideband the auto tune function is just beautiful. IMO it's hard to argue at current with the EMS price vs. performance and tunability wise. Also, how easy any one system is to program depends in large part on what your engine tuner is most familiar with. People used to DFI and not a F.A.S.T. setup will obviously prefer a DFI over the F.A.S.T., but the opposite is also true. Try and contact your most likely to be used tuning shop and see what they prefer, because this should be factored into your final decision.
