will a 98 ex cluster plug n play into a 96 dx? If so......

Default will a 98 ex cluster plug n play into a 96 dx? If so......

If so what is the green 4 pin port for on the ex cluster b/c the dx cluster doesnt have it. What is that port for? Theres no ohter connection for it on the dash harness.

its a direct plug and play mod. everything from your dx harness will plug into the ex cluster with no problems, and everything will work fine from the little warning lights to the tach.

i just plugged up the harness in mine and didn't ask any questions. and it worked!

I think the port you are talking about is for the Cruise Control light. Don't worry about it. YOu don't have cruise. Just plug in everything else and enjoy.
