Default 96 EK Hatch 'CTR' Conversion and 99-00 bumper question

OK, I just picked up a 96 hatch and have a few questions pertaining to the vehicle. Ive abandoned my 94 integra conversion in favor of this ligher chasis so pardon my lack of EK knowledge.

1) Can the 99-00 bumper be retrofitted on my hatch w/o modifying anything? And if so can it be sourced from a coupe as well?

2) I saw an ad on ebay for a civic that had a 'ctr' front clip swapped onto the civic. Is there a difference in the fenders or was he just speaking in general of the headlights and front bumper/lip.

Thanks for your time

im a big dumb animal when it comes to EKs

In order to change your 96 civic front end to a 99 civic front end. You need the 99' civic hood, bumper, & and side fenders. After all that is should bolt straight on.

Thanks for your help. I was under the impression that the fenders were the same. Are the coupe/hatch parts interchangable?

The car has a damaged hood/rad/bumkper support that needs to go so hence the reason for new pieces, everything else I'm going to transpose from my lot of integra goodies.

You will also need the headlights, 96-98 are different. If you are going for the CTR look get the CTR headlights and the CTR front lip. Combined with the above parts you have your 'CTR conversion'.

the 96-98 and 99-00 civic fronts are totally different, from the fenders to the headlights, and hood. You can bolt the 99-00 civic fenders/hood/headlights/bumber to your car with no problem. But have you given thought to just getting the 96-98 ctr lipfor your car?
