Default Clutch Engagement???

I just finish putting my hdss into a b18b. On the stock clutch, it would engage at the middle of the pedal stroke. Now it engages right when I let off the clutch pedal, about a centimeter off the ground. Granted my stock clutch was worn all the way to the rivits , but is this why the stock clutch engaged late and the hdss engages right as I let off the pedal??? I have only drove it 3 miles with the new clutch because I dont want to F*ck it up . Do I have to adjust the clutch pedal or something??? I need help on this one guys.

I also bleed the slave cylinder correctly, no air bubbles just a steady stream of brake fluid .

that's normal. my act clutch did the same thing and my friend's gsr is the same way. it's what you have to deal with when you have a performance clutch.

yea mine was the same way. after you break it in, it'll engage a little later.

Welcome to the world of aftermarket clutchs. I love the low engagement, feels like your tearing asphault clean off the road when u bang gears.

Thanks for the replys guys. I kinda figured that it would probably get better over time but just wanted to be sure . Think I'll go rack more miles on it to get to the magical 300 mile break in. At least thats what ACT recommends.
