Default tach trouble

Ok I have a weird problem, I've never seen this happen before. I have a stock tach and an aftermarket tach and when I get up to about 6500-7000 both needles either flap back and fourth or just go up to 8000 on the stock and 10000 on the aftermarket. BTW it's on a d16a6. Any help would be appreciated

I got the signal from the blue/white wire underneath the dash by the fuse panel. I just want to know why it would start doing it all of a sudden. It worked great before, just all of a sudden....So why would the stock one do it as well???

Well I fixed it, umm well I pulled off the cap, looked at it for 2 seconds(had to go back to work soon) put the cap back on, and when I left work the tachs worked fine. Gotta love cars sometimes

I tapped into the wire under the dash, not the dizzy....So I guess a connection must have been loose and I just bumped it by accident because I didn't have time to actually do anything. Thanks for the help though.
