Default 13.9 all motor RSX

a guy named jdkindle over at clubrsx was finally the first to break into the 13's allmotor with a 13.97. All he has is an intake, hondata ecu and motor mounts. here is a link to his timeslip.

There's more to come. Peter the guy that has comptech race header, hondata, exhaust & aem cai. Also Edo the guy wiht DC5-R cams, DC5-R intake manifold, hondata, aem cai, exhaust should be next.
There's a few more almost there with just bolts on, I think that's something.
It proves that K series have lots of potential

K series WILL prove to be some of the best if not the best Honda motors ever made IMHO.MASSIVE potential compared to B series.(and NO im not talking about mix and match b series motors either)

How fast do you think this setup will run?
Hondata ECU
Injen Intake
DC Sports Stainless Steel (1 peice) Header
Greddy Evo Exhaust (catback)
Toda Uprated Valve Springs
Toda High Power VTEC Camshafts
Toda VTC Killer Cam Gears
Unorthodox or AEM Light Weight Pulleys

Well I'll let the fact that you're 14 slip for now.. but first of all that setup is decent but there's things that can make it better. It will probably be able to run high 13's but there are several factors you forgot... first, driver.... second, tires... I'd say that setup can run low-mid 14's with an okay driver. but since no one has any toda mod's yet... no one can say....

things I'd change..
NO INJEN (Injen sri sucks) - if this is just for pure drag, go with the cold air intake

DC Header - DC header's have crappy flanges and people with them have had them break on them. Also any shorty 4-2 header that retains the downpipe/cat doesn't make that great gains compared to a test pipe or even better the comptech race header. The cat is highly restrictive and Peter at clubrsx has shown it with dyno numbers. I've rode in his car as well.

Exhaust: they usually don't add much, but every drop matters right... basically sound comes to it.. I have the Fujitsubo Power Getter, but GReddy sounds alright for the price

Hondata ECU: better be Program #4 (5200 vtec, 8600 red)

Toda: You can't have the VTC killer pulleys and the High power VTEC camshafts combined... why? the pulleys were meant to kill the i in the vtec, and it's basically pointless if you're still gonna have vtec anyway with the high power vtec camshafts... if you want ultimate HP then it's the VTEC killer camshafts as well... say goodbye to normal idle and low end power, and your wallet.

The Unorthodox pulleys are Crank pulleys while the AEM pulleys are accessory pullies, they will yield some HP, like 2 or 3, but not really worth it, and the crank pulley has been rumored to be dangerous. I only know of one person with them and that's pauly1 at clubrsx.

Tires: any nice stickey drag radial esp. some Nitto 555's, tires help a lot!

good luck with the 10,000 investment, N/A power is expensive, but reliable

Ahem.

Toda made the VTC-Killer pulley (VTC is only on the intake cam) specifically for use with their camshafts. The VTC was giving them tuning problems, so they eliminated it. The Toda camshafts will not yeild good results with the VTC functioning.

I would not suggest using the Hondata flash with a VTC-Killer pulley, as the Hondata programme is designed for engines with the VTC functioning. I also would not suggest any kind of aftermarket cams with the Hondata programme until they have designed specific applications for use with aftermarket cams.

Crank pullies are not dangerous.
