First of all youre name is 4ghatch, and you say you have a DA? Specify whether or not you have a auto or manual trans---if auto, it is a yellow handled dipstick of the top-front of the trans--u cant miss it. Manual--there is none.HTH

U cant "check" it, only drain/fill/top it off ---a DA is a 90-93 Integra.

There is a bolt you remove to fill it up on the side of the tranny....take that out and stick your finger in.

You have to be under the car to check the tranny fluid on a manual. There are two bolts on the passenger side of the tranny.

The top one is the check hole and should take a 17mm wrench to remove. Like he said, just remove it and stick your finger in. If you can feel it, it's good. If not, fill it up and check again. You can use either 10w-30 motor oil, or preferably, Honda MTF.

Also, just so you know, the bottom one is the drain hole. It should take a 3/8 ratchet to remove. Ony remove this if you're planning on changing all the tranny fluid though.
