Default Civic 92 rad in an '88 CRX

I would like to install a smaller rad in my CRX and I've been told I can swap in one from a 92+ Civic. Has anyone done this? How much fabbing is required?

i tried to retro a 92 Civic radiator into my 89 CRX Si but it seemed as though it was too tall to clear the hoodline. I also tried the 94-00 Integra radiator and it was also too tall.I guess you could rig the mounts to be lower but if you are wanting a better radiator for the rex try radiatorspecialties.com i believe and get a automatic radiator from an 88-91 four dour, its dual core and only like 100 bucks, and worked great in my case as i noticed cooler temperatures during the summer.
