Last night when I got home I opened the hood on my B16/CRX to let it cool off and noticed that light smoke was rising from the top of the valve cover (or maybe from the head). I never noticed this before I installed the Hondata intake manifold gasket which is supposed to keep the intake manifold temps lower by isolating it from the cylinder head.
So you guys think the smoke was from the head not being able to conduct heat to the intake manifold? Is this normal? My water temp was fine.

take off your valve cover and check out the gasket? when mine was blown, it leaked oil onto the lower part of the engine and intake manifold and smoke was billowing from under my hood. replaced it, $20, no more problems.
