i know that for the 99-00 civic si .. the AEM CAI v2 diameter is 4" .. damn!!

Ithink the AEM V2's are a 4" on the outer pipe. There's supposed to be an inner layer that would probrably be the same diameter as the original AEM CAI. THe power gain is "SUPPOSEDLY" the effect that the resonance of the two pipes has on air flow at different RPM.

it just looks like that outer just keeps the inner piping cooler. IF thats true then it wouldnt give you THAT much more HP/trq.. maybe like 2-3 more? Still good though It also looks like they have to make a new bypass valve because of that outter piping.
