i need major help turbo guys !! T3/t4 turbo kit????? fuel management experts read!!
Ok. I have a 92 b16a sir 2 motor in a 89 crx hf. the motor runs strong, no problems, i have yet to install this turbo kit that i bought; a revhard manifold with a 35mm tial wastegate, blitz bov, all the turbo piping, a t3/t4 turbo 50 trim, spearco intercooler. I have a fmu for fuel management, but i dont know all that much about it. I heard it sucks. people have told me to go with a haltech system, but that thing is a fortune. I am willing to spend a couple bucks or so, but nothing in the g system. well please let me know what u guys think. I dont want the thing to be super fast, just want the turbo in and running at 6psi constant. do u thinkt he fmu will be fine? if i get the fmu then will i need new injectors and new fuel pump and fpr and etc..? if so what kind. turbo is a headache, anyone have a similar setup or know of one that can give me a good setup? and is there an easy alternative to tapping into the oil pan? i heard they make an adapter that has extra bungs for oil temp gauge and oil line to turbo that connects to the oil filter? do u know where i can get that or any of the fuel manganing stuff u guys reccommend. please help.. thanks again

The FMU will work, though not perfectly. At that boost level it won't be a problem though, but remember that you WILL be turning up the boost later on. All you need is the FMU (who's is it BTW?) and a high flow fuel pump, preferrably the Walbro GSS 342.
yea the fmu will work, but it's not a really good fuel management. it's basically a ball that connects to your fuel line, that when it senses boost(connected to vacuum line) it pushes the ball out raising the fuel pressure. your fuel psi will probably be somewhere in the 80-100. http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html has a really general explanation on it. with 6psi of boost, u don't need new injectors. however, a fuel pump would be nice. but make sure to keep it at 6, don't go crazy with boost, even though it is addictive. you can run a vafc hack if you are on a budget. search and you will find alot of info on it. basically a vafc and dsm 450cc injectors. the poor mans hondata. the oil pan, you have to take it off, to drill a hole, then put a fitting on there, weld it whatever. there really is no other way. quite easy. good luck tho
holy smokes that sites amazing. thanks man. it should be a lot easier now
you can use an FMU as long as you use an inline pump but i wouldnt trust one over 7.5 or 8.5psi.
if you get injectors the FMU and inline wornt work anymore. then your gonna need an intank and probably a vafc for tuning.

Also, forget about the VAFC in my opinion. Either stay with simple bolt ons, or jump straight to an EMS (or equivalent standalone). IMO, the price difference between a fully programmable ECU and piggy back crap is no longer large enough to warrant bothering with half-*** setups.
