I am swapping my b18b1 next weekend and want to know what exhaust fits, or combo fits on my eg. I hear that you have to use a DC midpipe with an eg muffler. is that true? And don't say Custom, cause I know that is an option, but other than that what is there?

You don't need a DC midpipe. Your stock exhaust is fine for now, just do what you have to do to attach the B series manifold to the cat/pipe.

 

when i put in my b series motor the header was about an inch apart from the rest of the piping and the flanges were not lind up

 

iF YOUR car is a CX, you just use a b-16 exhaust manifold bolted to the stock CX exhaust and run without a cat until you install your aftermarket exhaust.

 

Just get an exhuast for the EG hatch, u will need a header for the b18 tho...should bolt up.
