Pressure Washing Wheels?
I took my VX-8's and tires off for the winter yesterday and was wondering if I could just take them up to the 1 dollar DIY carwash place and power wash them?. Only thing I am worried about is the wash being to strong and ruining the clear coat on them. Do any of you power wash them? How do you guys clean/prepare your wheels for winter? What's the best way? Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, one more thing, should I pump an extra 5psi into the tires for storage? Thanks.

This guy I used to work with used a power washer on his cheap knock off rims (thing they were Konigs) and the clear coat chipped right off. Just to be on the safe side, I would probably just take soap and a sponge and use the elbow grease
I do it all the time. Those sprayers aren;'t pushing out much psi, so I wouldn't be too worried. What kinda wheels? Jst don't get the nozzle right next to the rim. Spray some siple green, use a tooth brush for the corners, and spray it off from say 2 feet away./
