Well I got my car back from the shop today and it looks really clean. I wrecked my door into a pole and it looks perfect now. That whole one side of the car was repainted and looks nice. Now that I have gotten my car fixed I'm looking to buy a new pair of tail lights. Im thinking either clear on red or red on clear, but I dont think you can get red on clear for 92-95 civic. BTW i drive a red 95 civic ex. Well if anyone has any suggestions to what kinda tail lights I should get post, and post pics if you have any. Im thinking of jdm. I have also seen some jdm tails that are silver and red. Those look nice. Well please post suggestions. Thanks

The Japanes tails just have a slight difference from the US spec tails. The ones you have posted don't look too bad, as long as they're not Altezza's, it's your money/car, go for it

 

I dont think they are altezzas, but the thing says so. I think its to try and sucker ricers into getting them. Im thinking of getting all clear tails


Those, but only if i can customize them and make them into si style, red on clear. There was a member that knew how to do that and im no the look for him right now. Anyone ever see sliver on red. I think they are jdm.

Just get red stained glass spray paint or testors candy apple red transparent spray paint. Im not trying to promote rice here, just helping out.

Some guy posted a how-to on painting the stock tails all red except for the rectangular reverse section and it looked pretty damn good. Probably can't dig it up though.

ok.. Q2.. are these tails totally legal?? cause last thing i want is a cop to pull me over and be like.. i got oyu cause your car has no front liscense, thsoe tails and some fenders that make ya look like a punk pot smoker

brake lights MUST BE RED.
back up lights - MUST BE CLEAR [or amber? i dunno...]
turn signals MUST BE RED OR AMBER.

those clear tail lights are highly illegal and a cop will pull u over without thinking twice.

why wont 96 tailsfit a 95. Will they? If so would I just have to switch around the wires?

 

I think the half and halfs and the clears look good. As long as they aren't altezzas. The new style tails won't fit. I think they are a bit taller.
