Is it possible to switch the passenger seat over to the driver side?? (del sol seats)
Is this possible? I have a 93 del sol so that means that the driver's seat has seen about 10 years of *** cuddling... the passenger seat seems to be in near new condition so I'd like to switch them.... do you guys know if I can do this without having to rig something up? I'd like to continue to feel relatively safe strapped into my car... is it just a matter of taking the cusioned parts off the tracks and what-not... if you've taken del sol seats out or installed them in your car you've gotten a much better look at the under-seat-stuffs than me....

i don't know but wouldn't the lever be on the wrong side sam with the seat belt buckle so probaly no right
you can remove just the seat bottom, I know because i re-covered some del sol seats with a leather kit. I was actually thinking of doing the same thing, switching seat bottoms to give the passenger seat some love too lol, if you remove both seats completely from the car, its only 4 bolts per seat to unbolt the seat bottom, although i dont know for sure 100% that they will bolt on the other side, I guess it just depends on if the bolts arein the same place on both seats on either side. Its only a few hand tools and probably an hour just give it a shot.
thanks for the encouragement, i'll try it out... if it doesn't work maybe i'll splurge on some new seats...

Well, the frame of the bottom is all welded together and thats where the upper portion bolts to. So if try bolting the upper portion of passenger to the driver side bottom- you will see that the bolts don't line up. I've tried it on my old del sol seats
