Nowadays...an intakes an intake regardless of brand. This one will not fit an LS because it is for a 94-01 GSR.

thanks, but what is different between the intake of a GSR and an LS? could it be modified to fit an LS or are they totally different?

looks like the LS and GSR's intake manifold is sitting differently on the engine. it could be the diameter also. I suggest you use the K&N filter regardless of the intake pipe's brand.

yea the gsr intake manifold sits lower that that of an ls. that means the intake pipe of a gsr comes out of the throttle body, bends up, then goes straight. the ls intake pipe will jus come out of the throttle body and go straight. did that seem clear to you?? and yes diameter of the intake for a gsr might be bigger.

Just buy one that says LS 94-01, the ones for GSRs will not fit in an LS engine bay, well it won't fit correctly. They make different intakes for differnet models for a reason

Beware of Massive Motorsports. I had a bad experience with them on ebay a while ago. I won an auction for some shifter bushings and didn't receive the parts for over a month later, and several emails. Out of all emails I sent them, they responded maybe twice, and that was weeks after the auction had ended. Supposedly, the package had been "lost" and they had to send another.

ive bought their LS intake and it was actually very good quality, powder coated aluminum tubing and it stays cool no matter how long i drive, even the IM is noticably cooler than before after driving around. i bought a hi flow cat which arrived quickly but was kinda cut wrong and the flange that connects to the B pipe didnt line up flat but i got it to fit, i just recently bought a set of drilled slotted rotors and they came very quickly and were in great shape

they have 769876807 LS intake's as well so just get the right one and be safe, dont bother using the buy it now feature because you wont get outbid and youll save a few bucks

so unless you live in CA and have to have a CARB EO dont waste your money, and even if you need a CARB there was someone selling CARB'd CAI's for less than $70

an intake really is just some tubing, clamps, couplers and a filter. the higher priced intakes you are really paying for the name and the money they spent on CARB EO
