I am considering making these for h-t ppl
Who would be interested?

$40 (plus shipping) would get you everything, all you have to do is take the stock bolts out...and screw in the bar and bolts, I'll include instructions.

You can fit up to two bars.

It will be made from Aluminum, to limit the weight, hardware will be Grade 8 (the strongest type there is)

I guess i can make like 5 at a time?
Only thing is you have to be patient, cuz my source for these parts doesn't stock a lot of it, so it may take more than a week.

I have been told by my friend that this made a much more noticable difference compared to his rear strut tower bar ( I don't have a strut bar)

Also sold it to another Integra owner who promptly called me after he went for a drive and was equally impressed.

email me at yoodan@optonline.net to get on the list make sure to tell me what car you have

ppl interested:
NightmareApex
neo1z
teg-your-it
gensix
Kalokohan
jigga008_99

email me to get on the list, I only want to make a bunch of these at a time

I'll be taking a 50% deposit to get you on the list, and pay for part of the materials....then pay the rest when im ready to ship.

Sure if i had one i'd use it, but i think that 40 + shipping is kinda high for something alot of us could make on our own with a drill. But let me ask you... what is it that you are bolting into? Is the floor of the trunk strong enough to support all that? Or will we find that after some hard driving the body flex has pulled up a side of the trunk floor where the bar bolts in?

it bolts to two rails of the frame

you will never have to worry about it tearing out

the reason why its so effective is because it bolts to the two rails of the frame

I'm not trying to make money here, just trying to help ppl out, cuz I know some of you are lazy, or not good at making stuff, or can't find the right parts ( this being the biggest reason)

I sell my custom trunk brace for $40 shipped Priority Mail ( http://www.geocities.com/bretq/trunk_brace_kit.html ). I make this option available to people that are interested in a trunk brace, but either they do not want to have to find all the necessary parts or they do not have the proper tools to make the trunk brace. This a very affordable option, especially when compared to other aftermarket trunk braces (eg. Benen, J's Racing) which cost $130+.

FYI, you can find my installation instructions for the DIY trunk brace at http://www.geocities.com/bretq/DIY_trunk_brace.html .

EDIT:

bretq's and dan's bars mount in different spots, so it wouldnt hurt to have both.

i definitely would buy from bretq again - his support and input both personally and on the h-t community are laudable.

I'm not trying to bash on Dan, but I really like how BSQ has always given people the knowledge and choice to DIY.

Yes, and I'm including them with this kit.

I have no clue what shipping would be. the bar is pretty big. I'm not gonna overcharge you guys for shipping. Like I said I'm not in it for the money.

Yes Bret (BSQ) is a wonderful asset to h-t
his frame reinforcement kit is very well known
I will try my best to offer an equal level of service.

I mean this is so easy to install..how can you mess up?

there is no need for drilling because you already have holes there

if you go take a look at your trunk you'll see two sets of bolts,,and they are threaded already

i had two bars in there before...both mounted on the trunk floor

i felt no diference between 1 and 2 bars

although it probably is distributing the work more evenly between the two

I'll be installing a 2nd one soon

so theres no nut on the end of the bolt..just threaded into where the bolts is...i see it now in your pic...i thought that was a drilled out hole for the bolts...

This will work on any Integra? Or is it year/model specific?
