I am considering making these for h-t ppl
Who would be interested?
$40 (plus shipping) would get you everything, all you have to do is take the stock bolts out...and screw in the bar and bolts, I'll include instructions.
You can fit up to two bars.
It will be made from Aluminum, to limit the weight, hardware will be Grade 8 (the strongest type there is)
I guess i can make like 5 at a time?
Only thing is you have to be patient, cuz my source for these parts doesn't stock a lot of it, so it may take more than a week.
I have been told by my friend that this made a much more noticable difference compared to his rear strut tower bar ( I don't have a strut bar)
Also sold it to another Integra owner who promptly called me after he went for a drive and was equally impressed.
email me at yoodan@optonline.net to get on the list make sure to tell me what car you have
ppl interested:
NightmareApex
neo1z
teg-your-it
gensix
Kalokohan
jigga008_99
email me to get on the list, I only want to make a bunch of these at a time
I'll be taking a 50% deposit to get you on the list, and pay for part of the materials....then pay the rest when im ready to ship.

Good idea, I might be interested if you make them for EH hatches. Keep us posted.

I have the same set-up in my EH3, easy mod. I used 1 1/4" square tube AL though.
The hardware is grade8 though? It should be Metric grade 10.9 M12x1.25 bolts....what size did you use?

I'm 150% interested if they can fit the Del Sol. I already have no trunk space so a rear strut bar is almost out of the question. That's a real nice setup. Hit me up if they'll work.

I just bought the stuff to make these!! I am making both bars for 30 bucks tops......
Home Depo guys....8.50each for a 4ft bar......bolts and washers cost about 14 bucks due to the metric sizes.....cheap mod.....
There sa post on how to make these...DIY project!!

1.) BSQ has had this mod listed on his website for years now.
2.) you can make it yourself for less than $15 with parts from home depot or ACE hardware

I know this will work on 2door and 4door 92-95 civics
It has been tested.
Not sure about hatches.
take a look into your trunk.
if you see two bolts that are 3 feet wide from each other....then yes...it will work.

I'm not trying to make a lot of money here, just wanna help some people out.
I know a lot of people had trouble finding the longer bolts.
BSQ's bar is nice....but mine is easier to install since it requires no drilling...only about 2 minutes worth of work with just a ratchet.

My question is: Is it really that beneficial that close to the rear part of the car? I would think that the actual body would be stiffer back there. I can understand the strut bars, but this I am questioning. Please inform me, I am not bashing here.

look that that spare tire well....that whole thing is gonna flex like a noodle
I had my doubt when making this...but the results speak for themself
go look at your trunk...you'll see the mounting location
you also see the two rails...and kinda extrapolate them towards the front of the car
now look under the car...you will see two huge frame rails...this bar is designed to limit the amount of flex and twist.
