suspension setup for an ek with a H22a
I am getting a H22a after i get back from boot camp and was wondering what was the best suspension setup for the extra weight in the front. im looking for it to be a Auto X and strip car so handling is important. Ive heard good things about Tein SS's but i dont know if they will compliment the H22 very well. Also when i fixed my front end i lost about 70 lbs in the front due to a CF hood and extremely lighter parts. will that help when the H22 pushes down the extra weight? Any comments welcome.
that is what i thought. I actually did lose about 70 lbs with the front end conversion because the parts i bought were aftermarket and not OEM. They were extremly light. The fenders werent as thick as stock and the radiator support weighed like 3 lbs. the bumper support weighed about 4 lbs and the bumper also weighed less. so i lost alot of weight. ill crush if i get into another accident but it helps for now.
Tein SS is defintely a good choice. The EDFC would be perfect if you can afford it, since you'll be able to have a drag specific setup at the touch of a button to help control front-rear weight transfer. You'll be in STS class at the autox anyways, so you might as well get something fully adjustable.
