anyone painted their rims black???
I know some of you have painted your rims black, if so what did you use. i know a guy who used primer but i don't think that's the best way. oh, and i don't have money for powdercoating, so what kind of paint?
I hit a curb with one of my wheels and put a nasty scrape in it so I filed id down to a smooth surface, but the rim looked like *** so I painted them Low Gloss black with a high temp engine paint. They came out decent.
ok sounds good, but if i wanted a polished lip how would i do that, i know i can tape it off but is there anything that will make it look more polished?
i haven't had any problems with my krylon wheels.. i didn't prep the wheels before i painted them, either.. even in the sand/salt..
