Default Wheel coating

I would like to have the wheels 'coated' black. Has anyone had any experience of enameling their wheels?

1st sanding the rims and then give it to a good powder coat shop.

I have 2 CRV rims for DRAG racing. I sanded those myself and a shop did the black coating. Nice pieces now.

When you say enamel, are you refering to the paint they use on your car fninsh? Something any body shop usually carries?

Yes, i am worried about having the wheels baked as they are only average castings. I figured that 'wet sprayed' would be a safer option, although not as tough wearing.
