Default Has anyone dynoed increase with JUN cams by themselves

Is it reccomendable to buy the parts in stages and if so which ones should I buy first if I want to build an all motor setup. If I installed JUN IIIs by themselves will there be any noticable gain? I understand there would be and increased labour cost over the building of the motor but not all of us have the thousands necessary to buy all the parts in one shot.

Thanks and sorry for the noob question

Not really sure what you are asking. If you dont have the money to build your full motor at once you could always do the head first (cams, valve train, p&p), and then do the bottom end later. Just make sure you have enough money for all the suporting mods to be safe, dont expect to throw jun 3's in and drive away and say you will do the rest later.

I know what you're asking. You're basically asking for a baseline run after an install.

Actually it was closer to the first responde . I basically wanted to know what the consequences would be for throwing in JUN IIIs and driving away. So the minimum would be cams, camgears, valvesprings and retainers?

you can just throw in the JUN3's and drive away. BUT...whether or not your car funs that great is another story. You really shouldnt just swap the cams and drive away without having some cam gears to tune the JUN3s. Either way though, if you plan to rev out the JUN3's you would definitely want to get springs and retainers.
