Has any one out there totaly removed a cat from a prelude SR or SRV , just wondering . I use to drive a 3 gen prelude with no cat , and noticed a big difference at high rpm , not to mention the greate sound. Sure its not good for the environment but neither are those SUV cramping up our highways.

I unbolted the back end of the cat on an 89 b20a5 and broke out all the ceramic catalyst material, then bolted back on...exhaust smell is terrible though, I can't have any windows open at all when I'm driving

 

there are test pipes. i t replaces your cat with a straight pipe, therefore you dont have a cat.

 

i have a test pipe in place now. smell isn't that bad...just smells rich sometimes.

 

I have no cat either, I have a DC Header to a 2.5 in collector on the downpipe with a custom 2.5in exhaust with a Apex-i N1 "muffler" It really picks up at high rpm, little slower at low rpm but MAN IS IT LOUD!!!! Worth it though, hgh end really moves
