f22b1 w/ manual tranny How much to sell for? or keep head?
Ok My cousin recently traded his 88 crx si for a 91 Accord Coupe EX w/ spare f22b1(vtec) motor out of a 96 ex coupe.
Here are my ?s
1. If he were to sell the f22b1 w/ tranny and ecu, how much could he get for it.
2. Is it possible to put the f22b1 head w/ vtec onto the f22 block already in the 91? The 91 block has higher compression and I feel that just swapping motors for an additional 15 hp would not be worth it, that's why I thought of putting the vtec head on the non vtec block.
Thanks in advance. And for the record I had told him to keep the crx.

$350-$450 depending on mileage, the problem is most people who will buy live to far away to make it worth it. everyone else wants to low ball you.
you could sell it all separately and make more money though. someone may want tranny, a turbo person may want the block, the head and ecu could go to someone who actually wants to attempt the head swap. you could probably make $800 doing it that way.
