I took mine out to stuff in my brothers Acura CL Bose 6x9's in there. LoL at first glance i thought it was some kind of rim... Stupid 15 inch school monitors...
Yes, they are rear speaker mounts for 6.5" speakers. YEah i know , no biggy, but i have been looking for them for like 7 months now, and couldnt seem to get them anywhere.
hey, if you find the rear speaker kit for a 88-91 Civic hatch i'd be interested in buying it from you.
... i THINK i still have them... im not sure though, might have tossed them out

I have 6x9s mounted in the back of my '91 Hatchy.
Those are Boston Acoustic 6x9s on a custom built plat form.

When I was shopping for subs I liked these becuase they are not expensive and they do not require a bunch of power to push them. I have had these for a long time and they still sound great!
hey man did you get that professionaly installed (the 6x9s) or did you custom install it yourself ?? i did find the speaker brackets awhile ago but i still dont like the sound the 6.5s give out. not enough bass!
