I have a buddie that just bought a 89 RS Integra. It has the d16z3 engine 1.6L Dual Overhead cam non-vtec. Is it possible to swap heads with a b16 vtec head??

Are the bolt patterns different which is why they don't match up. He wants to swap the Teg engine in his civic. I told him that the b-engines are different from the d-series which is why they don't fit if you wanted to swap heads. Am I correct in stating that?
