Default 1997 Prelude Exhaust

Hi, i have a 97 prelude and right now i have a OBX tunable b3 bomb muffler on it, it provides like a deep throaty sound, but i want more of a high pitched zippy sound for my car, i'm wondering if i need a whole cat back exhaust on my car to do this and if so what type, i've heard good things about tanabe, greddy and apexi but was just wondering what you guys would suggest, and what type of exhaust i need to acheive this sound with my car. Thanks alot.

get a cherry bomb from autozone

seriously though, deep pitched exhaust sounds a **** load better than zippiness.... and just the *muffler* will give you little to know gains..

Get an apex N1, best exhaust for the price IMO and you will see decent gains.

ITS TANABE and why do you care more about an exhaust note more than performance gains? confused face:

Hmmm ... any 5Zigen Fireball type muffler sounds like ***... you might want to look into those. As for great deep sound with good performance gains, look for Mugen Twin-Loop, Apex'i N1, Tanabe Super Racing Medallion, Greddy Evolution, and the like. That's four reputable companies that make decent exhausts.
