someting is wrong with the map sensor or connection...anyone else have this prob?

it only does it in 3rd or 4th gear wide open right around vtec..anyone got any ideas

Triple check your wiring and make sure you hook up the VTM Wire. Its most likley a wiring problem.

 

ya thats what i thought..but wouldnt the cel come on all the time?

 

yea wiring the vafc still has me with some cel problems...eek. just make sure its all soldered perfectly.

not necessarily on the cel...mine only comes on on highway pulls, and then its all pissed off.

 

yea like it wont do it in first or second..but it doesnt like third too much haha

 

u know how when u get new fuel rail and fuel pressure reg and fuel filter, u gotta unplug and replug the ecu or something, mabye that will let ur ecu know of any changes and fixes it self...but im a dumbass so maybe i should just shut up

 

when u install it u gotta unplug the battery..so it should have reset already...any other suggestions?

 

and what code are you throwing when this happens?
