I dont know if you guys read my post a couple day ago about my "mystery engine" or not but ill recap. Well i bought an engine that was supposed to be a 92 b18a. Well i got to thinking about it and realized that i got a PR4 ecu with it...i know that the PR4 comes on the 90-91(non obd), but i dont know if the 92-93(obd1) engines use this ecu also. Well i asked you guys how to tell the difference and i was told that the year is stamped on the side of the head. Well today i went to look at it and i couldnt see the right side of the engine b/c if the timing belt cover...but i did see a few other numbers that might be helpful. On the front of the block it had PR4-4 stamped on it...and it also had a bunch of other letters stamped inside of circles...one was 92. I dont know if this can help me or not so im asking you guys...is this an obd0 or obd1 engine? ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!
Thanks.
Sean
Thanks.

I have a b18a 92 motor in my rex, and recently went to change the ecu; it was running on a PM6 ecu so I wanted to put in a PR4..............I bought a PR4, but it didn't fit my wire harness plug.............it was a 92-93 PR4, and my wire harness had the plug for the 90-91 ecu's like the PM6 and PR4
that's how I learned there were two PR4 ecu types....one for 90-91 obd0 harnesses and one for 92-93 obd1 harnesses. But it sounds like you have a 92-93 motor.
