DSM Turbo Injectors on ZC motor...
Well i just put the blue top injectors on my ZC. They fit snug between the fuel rail and the intake manifold and the connector snaps right in. but when i start it up it doesnt idle or idles like **** and when i drive it, it runs STRONG at quarter throttle but when i give it full it sputters and doesnt move. Do these injectors work on our cars or am i doing something wrong? I just put the old ones back in for now. Thanks...
i believe you need the injector resistor box, which you should already have, and thats all i can help youo with...but i know this has been done tons of times, try search in the archives
sounds like you are running very rich, and I beleive you will need some form of fuel management in order correct your problem. most of the people that swap to the DSM 450cc injectors use either a AFC or SMC type device to lean out the mixture so that it runs properly.
I found it guys... just had to search for it in the archives like you said..
