Default Who here has Recaro SP-G/A's?

I am about to order a set of SP-G's and need more detailed mounting info for these seats. I would like to use the existing seat mounting points but haven't been able to get any reliable answers. I am open to any tried and true set up suggestions. I would like to use height adjustable sliders.

These seats aren't for show, I will be roadracing my car this year so I need to understand how to properly install these seats. If it makes any difference, I currently have JDM Recaros which will be replaced by the SP-G's. I would imagine that nothing from the SRDIII's would work on the SPG's?

I know there must be someone who is actually running SPG's or A's? So far the only option I have seen would be to use the Mugen brackets?

You may want to check with Kings to make sure Mugen bracket work on Recaro.
I remember Sparco and Recaro has same mounting point (base mount) and when I asked them can I use Mugen rail on Sparco, they were not sure about that. However, I'm SURE they will work with MOMO seat.

Another way to do it is get a base bracket from Wedge. Is SPG side-mount only like those new Sparco Rev/Evo ?

Does anyone know where I can get Recaro seats for a good price? Also, I'm 6'0" and 190 lbs. Will a SPG fit me? Or will I need to get Pole-Position? Or another bucket? Also, I want to mount the seat to the floor to get as much head-room as possible (these Japanese-build sizes are killing me!)... any recommendations?

I am using Vision Super Low rails with my SPG, you might want to consider those too

Here you go

::CORRECTION::

I am using Vision Low Position slider on my driver side, and the Super Low slider on the passenger side. And the Super Low is not available for LHD driver side...

on me

Got mine from A&J of course

Nam, I am 5'9" 185lb w/ 33 to 34 inch waist and I fit snuggly into the SPG's. I want it snug becasue I will be racing my car. I would imagine you would be a little leaner than I, so I believe the SPG's would be fine if you want the seat for any type of racing.
I will not be driving my car daily as it is going to be primarily a track/ occasional weekend driver so please take that into consideration. I want to have no extra room in the seat.

The Pole Position is a much wider seat, so if you aren't actually road racing or autocrossing your car then that maybe a better choice. When I went to the Recaro dealer I sat in each seat and the dealer told me that the Pole Position was more comfortable for people with 36" or larger waist.

Contact ON-TRACK here on H-T. He has very good pricing on Recaros. Plus I think he is doing a group but now also.

I have a 32-33 inch waist ... but I'm not by any means lean... I think it would be a good idea to go to a local Recaro dealer and sit in them. This seat would be for racing only (I'll put them in for events and remove them after). Does anyone know of good places where they can make custom rails for maximum headroom? I.e. no sliders/rails/etc ... just bolt the damn thing to the floor! Thanks for the advice though, I will give ON-TRACK an IM.
