Default guys with 4.785 and up final drives

What gear are you guys dyno tunig in. I have heard 4th with gearing higher than 4.40. If so have you guys seen a big differnce from 3rd to 4th on the dyno.

Shouldn't be very much difference if any at all. I would still stick with the third gear, but like just about anything; it's up for debate.

I'm running the ATS 4.9 fd and we dynoed my car in both 3rd and 4th gear....not much of a difference between the two....less than 1 hp....hope this helps you out.

makes no differnece in which gear (at least from expirence). 4th gear will have smoother curve usually with slighlty less pwer 1-2whp and 1-2lb/ft of torque.

from recommndations motors under 200whp or under 2.0L should dyno in 3rd gear (as fourth is usually already under 1.0, which you try to be as close to, to get accurate readings)
