Default crankshaft bearing wear poll

ok, question. for those of you with lightened crankshaft pullies, when you installed it did you put in a high pressure bearing? are you having problems?

Could you explain what "high pressure bearing" is?

a crankshaft bearring that is designed to take more pressure. it can withstand more. its the same concept as a stage 2 clutch. it is just designed for more power. that way you dont get the premature bearing wear on your stock crankshaft bearing and have to rip it all apart again.

there are a few specialty companies that will make them. im not sure if they will do it for a honda... i dont see why not though. when i was on the phone with my dad the other day he was asking if i was going to change the bearring when i put the pullies on. but he is a big block gear head. its just that i have heard about the premature bearring wear and was thinking there would be a high pressure bearing replacement.
