Anyone know much about the ELD unit?
Hey guys..
My h22a has been running pretty sweet, only one code i need to fix....
the ELD COde 20 is what im getting...
Im not sure if its got anything to do with some of my bulbs going bad cause of it...
From what i understand the ELD unit will adjust idle when it senses current consumption is increase eg. after a/c turned on or something...
I think it also plays a role in circuit protection?
Its located under the fuse box but i have no idea what it suppose to look like...
any ideas?

I'd be interrested in reading any informative posts regarding this also. In addition to compensating for electrical load by adjusting the idle, I believe it also controls the field current (?) to the alternator to control the output/charging rate. If the alternator output was too high, that might explain your blown bulbs. Check the voltage at the battery with a voltmeter while the engine is running and see what you get.
