Hey guys I've got an integra LS. I'm going to be doing an Ls/vtec conversion and I'm looking for a b16 head or a b18 head. My question is how much are each of those worth? I found 2 near me on the parts trader one with no valves and one with valves but I have no clue how much they're worth I don't want to get ripped off or anything... Anyways heres some links if you guys could help me out. thx

If your gonna leave a stock bottom end or use OEM pistons (ITR, CTR, etc) then i would go with the P72 head..because it will raise your compression and give you more power (but i dont reccomend the CTR pistons with the P72 because your CR will be around 12:1 which is pretty high) ITR ..USDM or JDM..

But most aftermarket pistons that are made for LSVTEC set-ups are made for PR3 head's (shelf)..so if your gonna do aftermarket pistons then PR3 is the way to go..unless you have lots of money and can do custom... but PR3 with CTR's is cool...

EDIT: just saw that you have 8 post.... PR3 = B16 head , P72 = GSR head...no offense..

well your post was pretty useful except my qustion was... how much do those heads cost? I think I'm going with the b16 head because I do plan on getting aftermarket pistons some time in the far future. I'm not sure which pistons im going to use though, but I'm going to go with ctr or itr pistons. I'm just trying to piece everything together slowly I'm in no rush probably going to have it done this summer.
