Antenna Delete Plate on cars without Radios?
My friend and I were thinking about how some STDs and maybe DXs didn't have Radios, so they wouldn't need antennas. So might there be some sort of plate that covers over the area where the antenna would be. Or did those cars not have holes drilled for it. Also does an S2000 antenna really fit and how much work does it take?
or you could just bondo it...I don't know what the plate looks like..but bondo and some paint makes it disappear. I would show you a picture of mine..but it would be a waste of time...just looks like a hole was never there.
do not bondo it.the previous poster doesnt have any idea that bondo abosorbs moisture and it will shrink and the hole will look like shi_.trust me do not use bondo.either buy the plate or do it right.(weld in a plate and then fill the rest with body filler)
OK...hes right...its not attually bondo....its fiberglass resin. But I do have bondo in my rear windsheld wiper...its been there for 2 years....looks the same as the day I did it.

I've needed one of those for a long time! I didn't even know the dealer made that part!! I've wasted a lot of time trying to fabricate one of my own.
Anyway, if someone could post the part# and price, that would be great, it would be most appreciated.

Yeh, that's my pic that CRX_91si posted. I got the plate and the rubber seal for like $4 I think at the Honda dealer. They didn't have it in stock, but i got it the next day. Sorry I don't have the part #'s anymore, but they can look it up on their computer. Just tell them what it is, and make sure they look on a Civic STD or a CRX DX base model.
And BTW, I still have my antenna, and it's extended. I just extended it and pushed it down into the A pillar (?) and it works fine. And looks nice IMO.

And they told me they were giving me the wholesale price at 10% off list. Not a big deal, but strange how it varies from dealer to dealer.
