'03 Expo Checklist. What to bring... what not to bring.
Just wanted to make sure that people are getting ready for the Expo. It's only 3 months away!
The following checklist should apply ever more important to those who will be tracking. I'm a road track newbie, so please correct me if there needs to be more required equipment/tools/etc. at the event. Please feel free to respond to this thread, and I'll add your suggestion to the following list. I just wanted to give an advanced heads-up, so people could prepare everything before the expo.
What to bring/What to do before traveling:
1. Get routine maintenance completed (self explanatory)
2. Extra engine oil (hopefully, enough for emergency oil change)
3. Tire pressure gauge
4. Portable tire pump
5. Extra set of wheels/tires, depending on your setup
6. Helmet
7. Driving Gloves
8. Brake Fluid for flush before or after the event
9. Track/Street brake pads for before or after the event
10. Extra set of brake rotors for those applicable
11. Floor jack & jack stands
12. 2x4 plywood, in case need to jack the car up in grass
13. Your favorite tools
14. Sunblock (maybe needed
)
15. Torque wrench
16. Chalk (just like in auto-X?)
17. Hot chicks
What not to bring:
1. Attitude
2. Ricers
3.
Did I forget anything else? Experienced road track drivers, please feel free to add to the list.

Ugly chicks are ok to bring just incase there is a shortage of good looking broads....I mean c'mon, you can't say any skag is ugly when you're drunk as ****.

Air was not available last time i was at the track, remember it's still being built. This may have changed by the time we get there (i was there last in the fall of '02), but airtanks/compressors might not be a bad idea.

Speaking of brake pads, any suggestions for the Expo. I'll only be using them for the track as I have extar everyday pads already. Also I'm assuming I can get away with just upgradiung the front pads and getting some good fluid. Thanks, Ryan
