Default '03 Expo Checklist. What to bring... what not to bring.

Just wanted to make sure that people are getting ready for the Expo. It's only 3 months away!

The following checklist should apply ever more important to those who will be tracking. I'm a road track newbie, so please correct me if there needs to be more required equipment/tools/etc. at the event. Please feel free to respond to this thread, and I'll add your suggestion to the following list. I just wanted to give an advanced heads-up, so people could prepare everything before the expo.

What to bring/What to do before traveling:
1. Get routine maintenance completed (self explanatory)
2. Extra engine oil (hopefully, enough for emergency oil change)
3. Tire pressure gauge
4. Portable tire pump
5. Extra set of wheels/tires, depending on your setup
6. Helmet
7. Driving Gloves
8. Brake Fluid for flush before or after the event
9. Track/Street brake pads for before or after the event
10. Extra set of brake rotors for those applicable
11. Floor jack & jack stands
12. 2x4 plywood, in case need to jack the car up in grass
13. Your favorite tools
14. Sunblock (maybe needed )
15. Torque wrench
16. Chalk (just like in auto-X?)
17. Hot chicks

What not to bring:
1. Attitude
2. Ricers
3.

Did I forget anything else? Experienced road track drivers, please feel free to add to the list.

Here's a list of all I used to bring to the track:

1. R-compound tires mounted on whatever extra set of wheels I had sitting around
2. Hawk blues
3. some tools
4. chairs
5. WATER
6. More water
7. an extra gallon of water to be sure
8. some snacks/food substance
9. helmet
10. long sleeve shirt and pants

that's all I ever brought with me. I never needed the extra oil cause my kaa doesn't burn castrol gtx

I usually bring all that along with some other stuff.

What I'm bringing
- Top tool chest
- Tranny fluid
- Oil & Oil Filter
- Belts (its along ride, hope your alterinator belt don't break)
- Spark plugs
- Jack & jack stands
- Tent & sleeping bag
- Canopy
- Extra set of tires & rims
- Extra set of rotors and pads
- Clutch fluid
- Brake fluid & tools needed to blead
- Helmet
- Long sleeve shirt & pants (this is required to run on the track)
- Clothes to get dirty incase greasy work is needed to be done
- Tire pressure guage (they usually have air at the track)
- Helms
- BEER

We usually go to the local gorcery store also once we are settled to get food and water

Air was not available last time i was at the track, remember it's still being built. This may have changed by the time we get there (i was there last in the fall of '02), but airtanks/compressors might not be a bad idea.

Aleph, who got a craftsman rechargable compressor from santa

I think it would take a few bottles vodka to fix that problem. Just slam the two or three bottles of vodka. Go in to kiss the chick and pass out. Then the rest is up to her.

And you can tell everyone that you dont remember anything that happened that night, and use the famous last words"It was a accident, I was drunk"

Speaking of brake pads, any suggestions for the Expo. I'll only be using them for the track as I have extar everyday pads already. Also I'm assuming I can get away with just upgradiung the front pads and getting some good fluid. Thanks, Ryan
