Default vibrant short shifters...

i've done a search on 'Vibrant ss' and nothing came up.

i contacted a few of my local parts stores and the best price so far is $90 cdn plus tax which is 14% of $90. the brand of the short shifter is Vibrant.

i didn't wanna buy any from ebay cuz i'm afraid of them breaking even though i don't "SLAM" it into gear. also i know vibrant exhaust aren't reliable.

what i wanna know is, have any of you guys heard of or have had experiences with a vibrant short shifter? let me know. thanks!

yeah B&M is what i'm trying to get. i even told the guy "preferably B&M brand" i am just shopping around for now to get the best deal. i got a qoute for a B&M edge short shifter from another province for $85 CDN plus shipping. but i don't wanna pay shipping so i'm trying to get one locally for around the same price.

I use the B&M edge short thow shifter. I highly recommend it. Its nice and heavy and also balanced. I've installed some DC sports and piolet short thow shifters and they don't compare to the quality of the B&M. Just my opinion.

I just made my own and it hasn't let me down. Some day I'll probably get the B&M ss.

i have one of those cheap ebay short shifters, i guess its one of the better ones though, my buddy got a cheaper one and its junk. its made of aluminum and i really like it, especially for the price, (20 bucks). itreally shortened up the throw alot, my buddys b+m is definitlely a much more quality piece though, nice and solid. i put a b+m t-handle on top of mine (had to j-b weld it one) and i gave it a much more solid feel, added some weight. i would recomend this little mod, i kinda like the retro styling and the fact that no-one uses t-handles andmore, except my brother and i

I have a Vibrant in my car. I used to have a hurst one. I haven't noticed any difference in feel/quality. Buy the cheap one, but don't over tighten in aluminum. Something WILL snap or strip.

Later, Overkll
