Default Questions about changing vtec engagement from 4400 to 5500 rpms.

I have a B16a2, but when the swap was done the people used a GSR ECU for my 98ex. So the vtec engages at 4400(which seems much too early), if I changed my vtec engagement to 5500 with a VAFC would I notice a difference? and would it be wise to lean out the fuel maps a little bit? I would think they would be running richer than normal because the ECU is for a 1.8L engine.

any help is appreciated!

thanks,
mike
