Default Help with Installing my Clutch And Flywheel on the teg!!!!!!

Ok I purchased an act xt-ss clutch along with the fidanza 7.5lb flywheel and this guy was supposed to come to my house today to install it but he flaked out on me. So I was wondering if anyone had install instructions on the clutch and flywheel. My car is a 1994 acura integra ls. Should i just get this done by a shop or do it myself. I have done basic bolt on's before and my struts/springs so should I be able to do this. Thanks a lot

you might want to take it to a shop, but if you really want to do it by yourself, make sure there is somebody there helping you. Taking the transmissinon out by yourself is kind of hard, especially if you dont have a transmissino jack. You're pretty much bench pressing your tranny out physically, meaning having the tranny's weight fully on you while you move it to get it loose and out under your car. The tranny itself is fairly heavy and can cause injuries if somebody isnt there to help you if u need it. other than that part, its fairly simple.

Here's a link to guide you: http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/b...tch/clutch.php.
It would also be good to get a helms b/c it gives you torque numbers. It can be done w/ a good set of tools. You will need 12pt sockets for the pressure plate and the flywheel in 10 and 17mm. I did this install about a week ago. Not too bad but it does take some work. Post if you have any questions.
