anyone running sprint springs?????
I've got a set of brand new sprint springs at the shop, 2.25 rear, 2.50 in front. The front should be alright with height, they should go that low but I'm worried about the back not being low at all and getting that funny slanted look. The rear ends of crx's are really light so its hard to compress the spring. I want no gap in the back, maybe one finger, would these springs get me there or should I wait till feb and get some ground controls? I need new shocks too and was looking at the kyb agx's. Help me out with this spring dilema fellas.
Why not put the 2.5's in the front then and the 2.25's in the rear? That way the motor can push the fron down a littl and the back will still be down. Should come out even. Your best bet with anything is to do it right the first time and just save for the GC though. Good luck with what every you decide to do.
i'm using neuspeed race springs and koni yellows... i also didn't want the slanted look... on the yellows (i'm not sure about other brands) there are 2 rings in which you can place the perch to adjust the ride height... i put the perch on the upper ring of the strut on the front, and put the perch on the lower ring on the strut in the rear... now the car sits straight... looks so much better imo
I'm running sprint springs on my hatch and they look fine but I am running 205/50/15(GSR clovers) not to much gap, they dont ride to bad. If you want GC then I probably would tell you to hold off but if you can pick them up for cheap like 60 bucks new like I did then why not.
so do enough people agree that if I switch the front 2.50 to the rear and the rear 2.25 to the front that I will have an even drop? I just want my ride to be more comfortable and still retain that low stance.
If you want no gap then go with the Sprint RX Extremes, thats what i have, no gap at all. I have a set of the ones you have too, the blue ones. I never tried putting the 2.25s in the front and the 2.5's in the rear, but the space in the middle of the spring on the rear top coils are bigger than the front ones, so i think you may run into fitment problems if you do that, again i said MAY. I had those blues on my car but then i wanted to slam my car so i got the RX's

how would you know. have you ridden in a car with cut springs? do i even have cut springs? have you ridden in my car?
when ur car is too low it throws the handlin off..
how would you know. have you tested a low car at the track? have you tested a car that's not "too low" at the track? have you compared those two tests you never conducted?
he does not know how to make a car handle good...
how would you know. have you taken my car to the track? have you taken ANY english classes in your lifetime? and FYI, no car on earth can handle good. although some may handle WELL, no car handles "good" you dipshit.

Just because you cut your spring doesn't mean your car will handle like crap, it also depends on the springs stiffness and how many coils you cut off, and YES i have tried that **** before on friends cars and yes i know what its like. Just because you have H&R's do you think you're better than everyone? Do you think you know everything about suspension dynamics? HOO HOO run for the hills people, we got a JGTC champion here! Just ******* be helpful, H-T doesnt need ******* like you acting like they know everything, take that **** to Superhonda or ClubSi.

could someone post pictures of the sprint rx springs on their CRX. The problem between hatches and crx's is that the hatches have weight over the rear wheels( seats) which makes it easier to have the back lowered. The CRX's dont have any weight over the back wheels so lowering it is hard without coilovers. I dont wanna have a shitty ride quality anymore, but dont wanna be riding high. Does anyone have any sprint RX springs they wanna part with?
