Default D series swap question ..........

After all the issues I've been having lately (including not being to drive my car right now because it is all funked up for some reason) I am just going to replace my engine with a deal I got for a '93 DX engine.

Question is ........ I am not swapping out the Si ECU, so what do I need to replace on the OBD-1 engine to get it to run right with the OBD-0 ECU?

I figured I would have to switch the injectors and the dizzy. Anything else??

Dude, its acting all funky ......... not too mention it has always burned oil. I think that has totally clogged the cat., but as you know .......... it is too damn cold to get under the car and break the 13 year old rusty bolts loose .....

I'm going to get a new cat. and exhaust as part of fixing the car. But for the price I'm getting this D15, I can't pass it up. (I'll actually be up in your neck of the woods to pick it up).

I already replaced the injectors, plugs, and re-did a bunch of wiring, and it is still rythmically hissing (thought it was the injectors, it wasn't). It can barely rev, and if the engine is cold it constantly stalls out.

And the worst part of it is ....... it isn't throwing any codes ............. so I have no idea what the hell is going on.

I know the bottom end needs to be rebuilt, so I said f--k it, and am getting the engine. Best Si engine I could find was for $250. And I am getting this newer DX engine for less than half that.

I am looking for a DX/Si tranny though .....

And I will probably pull the '00 head off and sell it after swapping out the engine .....
