Car won't start...need help...please read
My car has been sitting for about 3 months now, I would periodically start it and let it idle for a while, but just now I pushed in the clutch, turned the key to ignition, and heard this clicking sound coming from behind the dash. I tried it again, but instead of the car turning on, I just heard a clicking sound. It got slower and slower the more I turned the key.
I have a VAFC hoooked up, but the connections on it are good. I also installed a fuel pump kill switch, but I dont even hear the crank turning so it couldnt be that. Any help is apreciated.

first, charge your battery, make sure its got good charge. also make sure you got fuel, doh. make sure your battery connections are tight. i'd take them off, and clean the terminals, then re-attach.
I had problems starting my car about 3 months ago and it was due to a bad starter. IT could very well be it for your car as well. Does it jus click once everytime u turn the key? thats wat mine sounded like. If it is, jsut keep tryin it to get it started it may work after a while, but either way ur gonna have to replace the sucker if thats the problem.
whenever i turn the key, i hear clicking from behind the dash, it slows down the longer i leave the key in there. Im going to check the starter fuse right now.
I'd guess your battery is not getting enough of a recharge from a few minutes of idling every so often...
You need to periodically drive it at higher speeds so the alternator can do it's thing and keep the battery charge up!
